The Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) supports pathways that ensure equitable access to high-quality Computer Science education for all Maryland students from PreK through Grade 12.

CS Education Support is available for:

  1. District planning using the SCRIPT process

  2. Grant funding through District CS leads

  3. Professional development

    • Annual summer virtual and in person PD

    • Just-In-Time PD and Mentor support program

    • Academic year PD

    • Praxis study sessions to earn a secondary CS endorsement

  2. Join us each year at the CS Summit. Plan ahead and request travel funds!

  1. MCCE funds are intended to support teacher professional development. Guidelines describe the goals and limitations.

  2. Pay educators to learn, plan, collaborate, support each other and the work in your district!

  3. If you have a SCRIPT team that has met at least twice with MCCE/MSDE you can also request funds for special projects.
